Moenui will host next year's World Husband Carrying Championship. The announcement comes hard upon the heals of the successful World Wife Carrying Championship staged in Finland; an event dominated by Estonia.In announcing the event Agnes Hapi said the women of Moenui would "win the championship hands down," adding that "most women here have been carrying their useless bloody husbands their entire married lives."
